Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

If you are looking for an easy going white "House Wine", Sumac Ridge Private Reserve Gewurztraminer (2012) is perfect for a get-together lunch, afternoon appies, or simply sipping on its own. The wine is just dry, very drinkable and elegant with soft lychee, honey, ginger, light spice and grapefruit on the palate; it's a fresh mouthful with a long mineral finish. And, at 13% abv and $14 (at the BCLDB) have a few cooling in the fridge ready for company.
Valerie Stride - WSET ADV reviewed this wine as follows:

A youthful, aromatic wine. This Gewurztraminer is practically textbook. Lychee notes complement candied fruit, peach, and tart lemon-lime characteristics that reveal themselves in this dry, medium bodied wine. On the palate, expect white pepper, minerality, and tropical fruits with a touch of liquid honey. Just lovely!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
