Apricot loveliness with an apple blossom shout of happiness! Medium-bodied. Yes it's got some sweetness. Get over it and enjoy this with glazed ham or sweet potatoes.

Riesling food pairings: ginger chicken.

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2011 Studert-Prum Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinet has light aromas of sulphur that quickly dissipate, after which sweet, yellow apple notes emerge. It is a medium bodied, sweet, fruity wine, with good acidity and a medium finish. Serve as an aperitif or after dinner palate refresher; drink on its own for the next 2 years. My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL to NICE, 88 pts - I can not be sure this was a bad bottle, for this price this wine deserves to be tasted again. Tasted during Riesling & Co. World Tour May/13.

Gutsabfüllung on the label means the wine is estate bottled. Fresh, subtly sweet-kissed Mosel with intense nectarine, golden russet apple, wet slate, paraffin wax and clover honey. Soft, delicate and consummately elegant with a crisp, mineral finish. A beautiful off-dry Riesling. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
