Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium-garnet in the glass, this wine opens with aromas of black fruit and vanilla from oak aging. A blend of seven red varietals, this medium-bodied wine also has a medium finish with notes of herbs, including mint. Smooth, it will go well with savoury dishes.
Stratus 2016 is rich on the palate with black currant, dark cherry flavours with a lingering smoky vanilla finish on the palate. Elegant and satisfying with firm tannins. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2019 National Wine Awards of Canada. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
