Reviews and Ratings

Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a plush, smooth, medium-full bodied merlot (with 5% petit verdot). The fruit was sourced from both Osoyoos and Okanagan Falls vineyards. The nose offers ripe plum, dark cherry, red and black berries, cedar, cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, sage, licorice and roasted bell pepper. The flavours are similar but, there is some menthol and pencil shaving notes in addition. The acidity and tannins are medium, and there is slight alcohol warmth, but the overall balance is quite good. Tasted Jan. 2017.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
