Reviews and Ratings

Michael Karavelis rated this wine as 90/100
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Classic Cabernet aromas and flavours of dark chocolate, leather, dark berries, Kenya AA coffee, and a healthy dose of methoxy so typical of higher altitude Cabernet. 89 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Gold Medal winner at the 2012 Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada. Outstanding value in well-crafted Cabernet here. Deep ruby in the glass with rich coffee, vanilla, blackcurrant and dark cherry aromas and flavours. Juicy and generous with a lovely core of dark fruit, spicy accents and substantial tannins. Full-bodied & Firm. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan. 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
