Natalie's Score: 88/100

An exotic and delicious Italian white wine, with mouth-filling texture and some toasty oak. Lemon lanolin richness. Round and mouth-filling, almost waxy in a good way. Baked bread on the finish wrapping themselves around yellow apples. Will cellar, but why wait? Try it tonight with seafood or pasta in cream sauce.

Food pairings: fresh fish dishes, roast chicken, veal scaloppini.

Reviews and Ratings

Sergio Zenato Riserva Lugana 2015 is produced from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana (Verdicchio) from the Veneto wine region. The wine has seen some toasty oak and has given the wine a lovely, creamy mouthfeel and texture. Great acidity on this food-friendly dry white. Pair with rich, creamy pasta dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
