Seghesio 2014 is a bold and fleshy Old Vine's Zinfandel, full on ripe black fruits, smoky herbs, savoury spice and licorice on the nose. This full-bodied and juicy Californian Zin and a crowd pleaser. On the palate, there is dried berry and cherry fruit, smoky herbs with dark fruit, licorice and savoury spice flavours. Big indeed. Tannins still need some taming. Decant prior to pouring with bison burgers. Can cellar for a few more years, but enjoy from 2020 on.

Zinfandel food pairings: crown pork roast with corn niblets, roast duck, gourmet burgers.

Seghesio 2014 is an Old Vine's Zinfandel with an incredible nose of ripe black fruits, smoky herbs, savoury spice and licorice. A huge, rustic Californian Zin and a crowd pleaser. Tannins still need some taming. Decant prior to pouring with gourmet burgers and all trimmings. Enjoy from 2018 and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
