Opens with lemon-lime zest on the nose and follows through on the palate with bright refreshment, yet surprisingly medium acidity. Medium-bodied with white grapefruit and lemongrass. Nice aperitif. Great minerality with a clean finish. Perfect for dock or deck.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: breaded veal cutlets, salad, cheese, poultry, quiche.

Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From the mountainous northern part of Italy, this wine is slightly fragrant on the nose with notes of fresh lemon. Simple and enjoyable, you should detect green and yellow apple notes with a high level of acidity on the finish along with a slight walnut bitterness. It’s a great, easy-drinking, food wine that pairs well with a variety of seafood and salads, or even sipped all on its own.
Cantina Colterenzio Kellerei Schreckbichl is a dry, lemon-lime zesty, medium-bodied and dry Pinot Grigio from the Südtirol - Alto Adige wine region in Italy. Look for white florals, ripe yellow apple and citrus zest flavours on the palate. Very easy to enjoy on its own or with quiche dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
