Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine has both green and pyrazine notes, and not in a bad way. Classic cab flavours of black cherry, blackberry, smoke, linzer, singed herb and cedar. There is great purity to this wine. 90 Points.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon notes of black fruit, green peppers, eucalyptus and white pepper, transform to a peppery cherry finish. Balanced tannin and acidity, wonderful paired with red meat.
Tasted Sept 2018.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A beautiful ruby colour hints at the juicy plum and smoky aromas of this tasty Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe cherry and herbs complete this full bodied wine which has a lovely smooth finish. This would be great paired with a grilled bone-in ribeye steak. Tasted September 16, 2018.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Reserva 2015, from Santa Ema Winery located in Maipo Valley, Chile, reveals warm aromas of red cherry, ripe plum, jasmine, salty caramel, coconut and oak. Medium-bodied, this fruit-driven wine shows good balance and a bright finish. Tastes of cherry, plum, bay leaf, dark caramel and oak will please the Chilean wine lover in you. Enjoy.
Santa Ema Gran Reserva 2015 is a dark and plummy Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley wine region. Lovely dark plum, red berry, dark chocolate and savoury flavours on the palate on this creamy, velvety red. Great value as well. Pair with a veal Porterhouse. - Community Wine Reviews
