Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Complex and layered with pineapple, lemon, peach, butter, nut, and vanilla aromas in the busy and intense bouquet. Very nicely textured and creamy while maintaining a crisp and refreshing edge of acidity. Barrel influence is subtle and pleasant allowing the varietal characteristics and winemaking prowess to shine through. Sourced from select Beamsville Bench vineyards with older vines, and crafted from a blend of individually fermented lots. Delectable with chicken, turkey, pork tenderloin, or salmon.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From an award winning winery, this chardonnay presents aromas and flavours of stone fruits and pineapple pleasantly intermingled with butterscotch and vanilla. Barrel fermented, this medium bodied wine from Ontario's Beamsville Bench appellation is reasonable price and would pair quite nicely with a warm afternoon spent on a sunny patio.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Nose of applesauce, cantaloupe, ripe Bartlett pear, butter toffee and Meyer lemon juice.

Simultaneously creamy and slightly "crunchy", a great mouthfeel elevates this. The toffee on the nose gives way to the ripe fruits and balanced acidity.

Great value from Ontario.

Tasted April 2019.
Redstone 2013 was a Platinum winner at the 2017 National Wine Awards of Canada. This Chardonnay from the Niagara Peninsula wine region is lemon butter, ripe peaches, buttered popcorn and cream on the palate wrapped on with a zesty acidity. Pair with your besty and a long weekend lunch. This wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Good acidity for food. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
