Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely lightly oaked nose with delicate buttery notes that carry over to the palate. Silky, smooth with a long and luxurious finish. If you are a Chardonnay lover you may want to enjoy this on its own. If not this one deserves buttery lobster. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Butter, oak, and cinnamon lead the nose on this firmly oaked Chardonnay (50% new French oak), but not in an obtuse manner. Apple and pear are present too, showing more cooked than fresh. Ful, rich, and creamy on the palate with no shortage of baking spice or texture. It's a powerhouse Chardonnay shoehorning all that was great about 2016 heat in Niagara into one bottle of high octane white wine. Serve with steak bearnaise, grilled veal chops with mushrooms, or pumpkin ravioli.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Chard done in a California style, showing butterscotch, toast, pineapple and tropical fruit with hint of lemon zest. Great match with chicken satay.
Tasted April 2019
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Full-bodied chardonnay here, given the full treatment (malo and oak). Fruity and tropical, buttery, soft and oaky, punctuated by a zip of citrus. Spicy oak finish lingers.
Queenston Mile estate-bottled 2016 Chardonnay is a delicious balance of ripe pear, buttery apple tart, butterscotch, lemon cream, vanilla and toasty oak spice and from a warm vintage. Medium-plus-bodied, creamy and smooth on the palate with zesty acidity for food. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
