A supple, juicy full-bodied Portuguese red wine with aromas and flavours of fleshy blackberries and black plums. Smooth and round and mouth-filling. Great for grilled meats and barbecue.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fragrant red blend of Tinta Roriz, Castelao and Touriga Nacional from vineyards north of Lisbon. Dry, fruity, with layers of dark blackberry, plums, baking spice, subtle oak and floral violet. Full-bodied, but smooth and gentle in the mouth. This will be a great one for grilled meats as the patio season opens. Excellent value!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
