Torrontés wine grapes for Piattelli Reserve 2017 are sourced from the high-altitude Parral vineyards planted in the Cafayate Valley. Floral on the nose with notes of toasty oak, on the palate the wine is dry, fruity, medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Grown at 5,890 feet elevation, where temperature extremes produce grapes full of flavour and evenly ripened. Well-balanced and zesty, chill and pour with spicy grilled shellfish dishes. ?

Torrontés food pairings: prawn salad, grilled chicken breast with mango mandarin coulis, seafood pizza.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tasty treat, lychee fruit, crisp Bartlett pear on the nose with hint of canned mandarin orange and savoury on the palate. Great summer sipper or for cuddles on the couch. Crowd pleasing. Tasted 2017 vintage in Feb 2019. 89 points
The Torrontés for Piattelli 2017 Reserve are sourced from Parral vineyards in the Cafayate Valley, Salta. A quarter of the wine is fermented in American oak barrel with the balance of the wine resting on its lees to give more structure and finesse to the wine. Featured on the wine's label is a picture of the Andes mountain range separating Argentina and Chile. Very fresh with lime and lemon zest and white florals on the nose with soft orange, lemon custard and white florals on the palate. Great acidity now. Chill and enjoy with a pork tenderloin. - Community Wine Reviews
