Reviews and Ratings

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I had a lot of fun discovering wines from Germany at the opening of the exhibit Landmarks of Wine Culture in Montreal October 5.

The first wine I tried was the Villa Wolf Pinot Noir, a typical light-bodied pale ruby coloured Pinot. It was deliciously paired with a typical German potato and bacon salad. It also went very well with the mini deer burgers. 13% alcohol. Available at the LCBO and at the SAQ at $14.95

This exhibit Landmarks of Wine Culture, presented by Wines of Germany, is a gift to Montreal and Canada, for the 375th anniversary of the city and 150th anniversary of confederation. It presents 13 images of wine culture representing each of Germany’s 13 wine regions. You can view the exhibit until November 2, 2017at Hotel Gault in old Montreal. Exhibit Hours: 7:00am – 11:00pm

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
