Paul Hobbs Winery was founded in 1991 by established winemaker, Paul Hobbs. The winery is located in Sebastopol, Sonoma County and specializes in single-vineyard varietal wines made from Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Chardonnay. This 2015 Californian Chardonnay is rich, intense and full-bodied as any Chardonnay can go. Complex and satisfying Californian Chardonnay, with full-bodied richness and weight with a velvet texture. Toasty oak yet it's integrated beautifully with the green apple and peach aromas. A chardonnay lover's chardonnay. Complex with a long finish. Pair with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster in butter sauce, breads, cheese, poultry, quiches.

Paul Hobbs Russian River Valley 2015 Chardonnay is full-bodied, weighty and textured. Lots of ripe tropical fruit, butter, toast flavours finishing long and savoury. Just a beautiful Chardonnay to pair with roast chicken or pheasant. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
