From well-known producer, Pascual Toso, Barrancas Toso 2015 is a great Malbec with fresh blackberry, blueberry, oak and spice on the nose. This broody, deep red and full-bodied Malbec is smooth with dried red berry fruit, florals, light herbs and a lengthy vanilla finish. Tannins are fine.

Food pairings: chicken herb-rubbed roast, duck breast with celeriac purée, breaded veal cutlets, tagliatelle alla Bolognese, lamb burgers, spicy sausage.

Reviews and Ratings

Pascual Toso, Barrancas Toso 2015 is a juicy Malbec with a pronounced blackberry, toasty oak and cedar spice noes. Full-bodied and smooth with red berry and cherry, savoury spice and vanilla flavours on the palate and ready to enjoy now with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
