A lovely, toasty bubbly at an exceptionally great price! The chardonnay grapes in this blend come from Hawkes Bay region, while pinot noir grapes hail from Marlborough. Lovely persistence of flavours and bubbles. Crisp, clean finish. A solid value for a sparkling wine: crisp, clean and fresh. Try with fried fish, potato chips, roast turkey and New Year's resolutions. Stock up now for the holidays!

Reviews and Ratings

Living on the East Cost of Canada in the Maritimes, I may have found the perfect seafood wine. This beautiful sparkling delight from Oyster Bay in New Zealand has gorgeous peach flavors with lime and citrus notes. A beautiful bubbly!
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Surprising yeasty qualities on the nose considering that this was produced by the Charmat method. Greetings from brioche, toast, lemon and green apple are presented to the nose. The mouth is presented with toasty, praline and lemon flavours on this easy-to-drink blush pink sparkling New Zealand offering. As with many medium-high acidity sparklers, you will find this food friendly and versatile, permitting a variety of food pairings.
