Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied red blend is the second offering made by Osoyoos Larose. It is a Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc,Petit Verdot and Malbec. Deep garnet red and highly fragrant, with enticing aromas of dark berries, vanilla, baking spice and chocolate along with distinct notes of roses and violets. The rich multi-layered palate repeats these elements in a voluptuous melange, leading into a velvety, extremely well-integrated mouthfeel and a long satisfying finish. I'd love to try this again with roast duck or game. It could also accompany a chocolate mousse with raspberry puree.
Tasted May 2-15.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
