This unfiltered Niagara Chardonnay is full of great stuffing! Toasted almond and butterscotch apple. Yes the winery is in Prince Edward County, but the fruit from this wine comes from Niagara. Aromas of fresh green apple and white peach. Pair with roasted chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: waldorf salad, spring greens, pecans and goat cheese salad, quinoa and fresh green herbs and spring onion salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Big flinty minerality, tart green apple, toasted almond. Long finish with persistence of flint and apple. Medium body, well balanced, medium acidity. Enjoyed this wine with a beer can chicken quesadilla with a slice of hot pepper in fresh mango salsa. Tasted 2015 in August 2017. Fantastic. BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delish bone dry aromatic steely mineral and floral with juicy high acid mouthwatering green apple, white peach and lime zest flavours. A crisp clean medium bodied cool climate Chardonnay to be enjoy with pan seared halibut topped with a cilantro-lime mango salsa. Tasted Aug 2017 by @sommsosa | nbespoketastings.ca
Norman Hardie (2015) is an unfiltered Niagara Chardonnay with lots of green apple an lime zest. Norm Hardie has won considerable international praise, including a shout out from Jancis Robinson, MW, who said of his wines: "... the most important thing about Norman Hardie's wines from Ontario are that they are absolutely, utterly, profoundly delicious." - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
