Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a full bodied red with aromas of black current, ripe strawberries, cedar, eucalyptus, and vanilla. On the palate, we find nice harmony between well structured tannins and fresh acidity.

Would pair nicely with a barbecued steak.

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Stewed plums on the nose with a mouthful of lovely flavors - leather, blackcurrants, prunes, earth, smoke and spice. Lingering earthiness on the finish.
From McLaren Vale, South Australia Paxton MV 2015 is a great Shiraz at a great price point. Lots of ripe blackberry, blueberry and jammy notes on this robust red finishing with earthy and dark chocolate on the palate. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
