Reviews and Ratings

Lovely cherry-berry rounded and juicy mouth-watering acidity. No Cabernet tannins: the grape base just lends lovely red fruit flavour. Great value and quality for this price point. MINE: Mulderbosch 2017 is a great value Cabernet Sauvignon rosé under $15 from the Coastal Region wine region in South Africa. Look for dried berry fruit and savoury herb flavour on the palate on this food-friendly and zesty rosé. OTHER: First released in 1999, Mulderbosch's rosé was one of the very first of its kind from South Africa. At a time when most pink wines were a by-product of red wine fermentation, Mulderbosch launched a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon rosé issuing from specially farmed vineyards devoted to producing this blushing beauty. Offering notions of red bell pepper and berries, this is a good choice for those times when you want a pink wine to pair with grilled chicken thighs or steaks. Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
