This full-bodied, rustic red wine is one of the few we see from Israel in local liquor stores. It's imported by the respected winery Yarden and offers aromas and flavours of black fruit, toasty oak and tar. Pair it with brisket.

Food pairings: hearty meat dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

This robust red wine is Kosher for Passover. Mount Hermon wine is named for the view of the mountain's snow-capped peak, visible from the winery. The wine is a blend of Bordeaux grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon that are grown in vineyards on the Golan Heights, a cool-climate, high altitude micro-climate. The fermenting wine was pressed early resulting in a fruit-forward style.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
