Reviews and Ratings

LIMITED SELECTION / Juicy, fleshy, ripe cherry berry aromas and flavours on this delicious medium-bodied Chilean Pinot Noir. Amazingly great price. MINE: Montes Limited Selection Pinot Noir from the Casablanca Valley is fantastic value under $20. Look for juicy cherry and red berry flavours on the palate on this medium-bodied, easy-drinking Pinot Noir. Drink now and for the next three years. OTHER: Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Pale ruby colour, pronounced aromas of cherry, raspberry, smoke, leather and earth. Flavours consist of cherry, herbal bay leaves, raspberry, leather, smoke, tar and earthy notes. Medium plus acidity, medium minus body and finish. A smoky and decadent, Chilean Pinot Noir. A perfect pair for balsamic glazed pork tenderloin and teriyaki salmon. 88 points - tasted December 2017. OTHER: A pretty pinot with dried strawberry and rose petal aromas. Hints of cedar. Medium body, bright acidity and a fresh finish. Excellent value. Drink now. Score - 91 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, March 16, 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
