Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A rich and satiny Malbec blend that is exquisitely crafted from the first whiff of its perfumed aromas to the last lingering sip. Hand-harvest takes place in April, at the time of full polyphenolic ripeness. Aged 12 mos. in new French oak. Beautiful cassis, plum, blackberry and sweet spice aromas lead to a finely balanced palate that adds mocha, espresso, anise, rosemary and native herbs. Supple tannins, a very silky texture and lingering spicy notes on the finish make this wine a joy to savour. It was an excellent pairing with roast leg of lamb. Available winery direct. I would definitely buy this again!

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The Pasionado Cuatro Cepas 2013 is a beautiful wine from the Andeluna Winery, located in Mendoza, Argentina. Blended from Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the wine offers pleasant aromas of black raspberry, prune, black pepper, cocoa, sweet tobacco, vanilla and oak. A full body, a lingering finish, with silky and well integrated tannins. Perfect for any occasion and delicious on every sip, the flavors deliver black cherry, blueberry, black pepper, cocoa, vanilla, tobacco and oak. Vibrant wine. Enjoy!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
