Complex, full-bodied yet subtle Italian red wine. Gorgeous aromas of dried black cherry, cedar, smoke, fleshy blackberries from an iconic producer. This full-bodied red wine is the second wine to Frescobaldi’s flagship label Luce. It's a blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and it was aged for 1 year in French barriques. This is the magnum size of this wine, equivalent to two regular (750 ml) bottles. Decant for 1 hour and you're ready to go! The grapes are sourced from the same vineyards as Luce aged in oak barriques in the winery at Montalcino. Pair this wine with prime rib.

Food pairings: pepper steak, pork schnitzel, lamb liver and onions.

From iconic Tuscan wine producer, Marchesi De Frescobaldi La Vite Lucente (2015) is the magnum format of this full-bodied, beautiful Tuscan red with dried black cherry, red berry, cedar and smoke flavours. La Vite Lucente is the second wine to Frescobaldi’s flagship label Luce with a blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged for 1 year in French barriques. Pair with a rare roast beef or aged, hard cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
