From Pascal Marchand, Marchand-Tawse 2020 Côte De Nuits Villages is produced from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from Les Clous and Essarts in Comblanchien. A portion of the grapes (40%) were whole-cluster pressed and the wine is dry, medium-plus-bodied and savoury with ripe raspberry compote, red berry, dark cherry with just a kiss of spice and finishing long on the palate. Beautifully balanced and elegant, drink or cellar to 2028.

Food pairings: duck confit, roast chicken, grilled lamb ribs.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
