It's no wonder that this is Ontario's most popular rose. Lovely light and lifted aromas of wild field strawberries on a sun-dappled afternoon. Dry and refreshing and mouth-watering. This is a Niagara blend of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes. Pair with grilled seafood or chicken.

Rosé food pairings: hors d'oeuvres, pastas, pizzas, ham, poultry, salmon or trout.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Consistently such a great Ontario rosé, this wine delivers year after year. Aromas of cranberry, grapefruit and strawberry with a hint of lime. Dry, bright acidity, and vibrant blend of citrus and berry flavours on the palate. Refreshing, crisp, and a crowd pleaser for sure. Enjoy on warm late summer afternoons on a patio with appetizers, or with seafood, chicken, or pork.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Crisp, refreshing Niagara rose. Blood orange, with grapefruit zest. Pairs well with fried calamari. Tasted 2017 vintage in Feb 2019. 90 points
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I opened the 2017 vintage of this three varietal blend and it checks a lot of boxes for me. The mouthfeel is lingering, mid-weight and effortlessly delivers this rosé’s substantial strawberry and red apple flavours. These delicious flavours continue through the finish. The blend bill is Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Pinot Noir from Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula appellation. This rosé is a delicious experience so I’m glad that I let this one mature.

Malvoire Ladybug is a fragrant, dry rosé from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Bright strawberry and pepper spice aromas on the nose, the Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Gamay rosé wine blend is clean with fresh strawberry, red berry fruit, lime zest and zesty orange citrus flavours on the palate. Very refreshing, chill and pair with salads topped with warm goat cheese and cranberries or herbed flatbreads. - Community Wine Reviews
