This is a stunning, buttery, robust Nova Scotia Chardonnay. The 2015 vintage of the Ancienne Chardonnay was harvested from the certified-organic Lightfoot Estate Vineyard in Wolfville, fermented indigenously in barrel with wild yeast, and cellared 18 months in French oak barrels. Only 240 cases made. Mouth-watering acidity for roast chicken or turkey. Loved baked bread with melting butter finish. So lovely.

Uber mouthwatering cool climate chard. Showing well. Lightly oaked, ripe apple, with light buttered caramel and floral notes. Paired well with roasted chicken. Tasted 2015 vintage in July 2018. 90 points
