Reviews and Ratings

An elegant and balanced Italian red wine blend of 67% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Sangiovese grapes. Le Volte is the second label of the famous Super Tuscan wine Ornellaia. Aromas of dark berries and cedar brush. Pair with lamb. MINE: Tenuta Dell'ornellaia Le Volte Dell'ornellaia is a 67% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Sangiovese red wine blend from the Tuscany wine region. Le Volte is dry, medium-bodied with red berry, tobacco leaf and savoury spice on the palate. Nicely balanced and structured. Drink now and for the next 10 years. Pair with game dishes. OTHER: Black currant, blackberry and mint aromas and flavors mark this firm, linear red. Fruity yet savory, ending with a dense, wide swath of dusty tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. Best from 2021 through 2030. Score - 92 (Bruce Sanderson, winespectator.com, July 31, 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
