Love the racy wild black cherry and feral cedar underbrush on this lip-smacking delicious, well-priced southern French red wine from the Rhone Valley. Pair with game meats.

Reviews and Ratings

This Rhone Valley red wine is a blend of the traditional grapes Grenache and Syrah. Copious amounts of purple and blue berries with some kirsch on the finish. Polished tannins. Séguret was designated a named village in 1967, an indication of the quality of wine produced there. However, it has been producing wine since 611, and has had a focused effort on winemaking since the tenth century. Séguret estate vines are planted on steep hillsides. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
