Juicy and complex with layers of tart cherry and spice aromas and flavours. Beautifully structured with a long finish and a satin texture.
Pinot Noir food pairings: roast chicken in a cream sauce, rich seafood dishes.

Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:
The Drink Wine and Giggle Gals love to drink in the local Canadian flora and fauna. Fortunately, this no longer means a 1.5l bottle of Baby Duck and a box of animal crackers. The complexity of Le Clos Jordanne Pinot Noir demands that it be savoured not quaffed--the Drink WIne and Giggle Gals appreciate any wine that puts the brakes on our intemperate tendencies while igniting our collective patriotism. Le Clos Jordanne pinot noir is one of those wines that makes a gal proud to be Canadian.

Cherries and warm berry fruit. I really want to try it with some good dark chocolate: I think they'd pair well together.
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:
The 2010 Le Clos Jordanne Village Reserve Pinot Noir has appealing aromas of Earthy strawberry/raspberry and integrated woody notes. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine, with checked acidity, subtle tannins (should be decanted for 2 hours) and a finish of medium length. It is food friendly; drink now-2018. My impression: NICE, 88 pts – tad expensive. Tasted April/13

Le Clos Jordanne scores again with the 2010 Village Reserve. Reflecting the warmth of the vintage, it’s a full-throttle, ripe and generous wine that is nevertheless balanced and poised. Medium gold colour, it displays layered aromas of vanilla, coconut oil, green apples, banana cream, yellow plum, wafer cookies and smoke. Dry, full-bodied with an opulent creamy texture, the complex aroma replays on the palate along with notes of cinnamon, toast and stony mineral leading to an impressive smoky finish. Enjoy over the next 5 years. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.
