The Russian River Valley is known for producing intense and elegant Pinot Noirs and La Crema has produced yet another with their 2015 Pinot Noir. The Pinot Noir is full-bodied with smoked meat, earthy, rose petal, ripe dark cherry and red berries flavours, elegantly wrapped up in sweet cake spice and silky satin on the palate. Drink now and drink often. Pair with a roast goose for the holidays.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled radicchio, zucchini frittata, barbecued duck, veggie mushroom burger.

Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Good value for a classically styled Sonoma Pinot. Lovely cherry and fully ripe raspberry fruit layered with a fresh and clean acidity. It is medium in body and the tannins are soft, finishing in some vanilla and a hint of toast. Try with duck casserole with green olives. @wrightwineblog
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A smooth, medium-bodied Pinot Noir from Sonoma, California that has raspberry, vanilla and smoky aromas leading to a very sippable, not too dry, wine with some fresh forest notes on the palate and long fresh finish. Pair with savoury dishes that include mushrooms, and with grilled vegetables.
La Crema does it again with their 2015 Pinot Noir. Still beautiful after all these years. This is a full-bodied PN with smoked meat, earthy underbrush, rose petals, ripe dark cherry and red berries on the palate wrapped up in sweet cake spice, silky satin and long on the palate. Drink now and drink often. Pair with a rosemary and garlic roast leg of lamb. - Community Wine Reviews
