This crémant from Alsace is made in Méthode Traditionnelle. Joseph Cattin's Brut is a crisp, lemony and toasty Alsatian sparkler with a great price point. Cattin has been perfecting its winemaking for centuries. Persistent mousse, long finish.

Crémant d'Alsace food pairings: lobster in butter sauce, gougère, steamed mahi mahi with lime, garlic and chilies.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Cattin Frère a bone-dry crémant from Alsace made in Méthode Traditionnelle. Rich and creamy on the palate with ripe apple, pear and a lingering toasty mineral finish. Joseph Cattin was instrumental in the development of vine-grafting techniques that saved the vineyards of Alsace from phylloxera. Awarded Gold at the 2019 Concours Général Paris, 2019. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
