Reviews and Ratings

Produced by G. Dupuy, Château Langlais 2015 is predominately made from Merlot with the balance in Cabernet Franc. Fresh red berry, plum, sweet cake spice flavours silky smooth on the palate with a lingering white pepper spice finish. Tannins are firm. Great now, better in two more years. Drink from 2021. Pair with rack of lamb. MINE: Château Langlais 2015 is an elegant Merlot-driven Bordeaux from the Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion wine region. Look for ripe dark berries, crushed raspberries, cedar underbrush and baking spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy with a pork tenderloin Wellington. OTHER: Bright violet. Floral-accented scents of blackberry, cassis and peppery spices are lifted by a smoky mineral accent. Spicy dark fruit and candied violet flavors show good energy and delineation. Finishes on a peppery note, with dusty, slow-building tannins adding gentle grip. Drinking window: 2021-2027. Score - 90 (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, April 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
