From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, Inniskillin Reserve 2018 Cabernet Franc is dry, medium-plus-bodied, elegant and fresh with ripe raspberry, mocha, cinnamon and pepper spice flavours finishing long on a flinty mineral note and balanced with mouth-watering acidity. Tannins are velvety. Enjoy with roast turkey dinner.

Cabernet Franc food pairings: grilled side ribs, bison burgers, lamb tagine.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Inniskillin's Reserve Cabernet Franc 2018 is a wonderful expression of the elegant, complex, and balanced cool-climate Cab Franc coming from the Niagara region. Ripe, earthy, herbal, with impressive graphite minerality on the finish - enjoy this expressive wine with lambchops and rosemary or varied charcuterie boards. Tasted November 2022. 90+ points.
