Lovely green apple, butterscotch and toasted almond on the nose and palate of this full-bodied Niagara white wine made from the classic grape Chardonnay. Pair with roast turkey or chicken.

|Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:|
This wine was stunning. So good I left the tasting and bought a bottle on the way home. It features gorgeous apricot, peach, honeysuckle and some faint tropical notes. It's all there. 91 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)

This offering from Inniskillin comes from their vineyard estate in the Four Mile Creek subappellation. Four Mile Creek is situated in the Eastern side of Niagara. The vines are planted in clay loam pockets on top of the Queenston Formation (bedrock that forms a significant piece of Ontario) and are exposed to intensely dry summer heat. That heat, along with the rapid cooling which takes place at night, produce extremely ripe and tropical Chards with lots of structure and aromatics.
It's already taking on a vibrant lemon colour.
Seductive aromas of buttered apple, mango, pineapple, ginger, vanilla, and lemon. If you find it is not particularly aromatic, let it warm up a bit. We tend to overchill Chards.
The flavours have plenty of tropicality too: nectarine, atulfo, pineapple, pie apple, with a creamy finish.
This is an excellent wine to consider for a more premium outlook on Ontario terroir. It is consistently high quality and extremely satisfying. It cellars well too.
Pair it with asian fondue or lemon chicken on a roll.
