Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

Wow! When I have completed my reviews I love to see what other people's takes we're on the same wine. We all have different taste buds, we all have different likes but I truly found a lot of people who were highly critical of this wine. I have no idea why! I LOVED it..... To me this wine had more gumption than some $40 wines I've tasted and this one came in at $24.55. This is my Saturday night, I've worked hard all week type of wine. So I say, in hind sight, if you like the bio of this wine, buy it! You won't be dissapointed!

On the nose there are black cherries, black currants and figs. Sandalwood and mushroom finish off the energy.
On the palate, lush black cherries, creme de casis, figs, prunes, cooked fruits. leather and tobacco box make a wondrous introduction after the fruits and wrap up with a delicate spice. good length tannins.

Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
