Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

An impressive Cabernet from the Coonawarra region in South Australia. Blessed by a very long growing season where fruit can ripen whilst maintaining great balance, the Hollick Ravenswood Cab is a fine example of a premium wine that will please anyone fortunate enough to taste. Produced only in the finest years, this iconic Cabernet shows the purest and richest concentration of the sweet ripened estate Cabernet. Eucalyptus, blackberry, black plum, mocha, cedar and spice great the nose and palate. Beautifully balanced and structured giving it a couple decades of aging potential to evolve further. Decant for two hours and enjoy 2016-2030. Tasted May 2016. 93 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A Coonawarra, SA Cab which spent 18 mos in new French oak. An inviting nose of ripe blackberry and strawberry kicks things off, followed by a vibrant, fruity palate with subtly blended herbal touches and baking spice. Well-integrated flavours, very balanced elements in this wine which can age up to 20 years.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
