Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

What is this nectar of the gods?! Gorgeous plum skin, blackberry, grilled walnut, iron, warm spice and meat blood. 93 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
This (2013) Shiraz from South Australia is made from the estate Wrattonbully vineyard and was matured for 12 months in French and American oak. This is a juicy, juicy wine ripe with dark berries, liquorice and bitter chocolate. In short, it has everything at a great price and has the balance and structure to age in cellar as well. Drink now and for the next 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
