Reviews and Ratings

Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

If you like to be happy this is for YOU! Intense dark pink in the glass, glistening with dancing bubbles! How pretty! It's pretty good too with lovely mineral and dried strawberry aromas. Mouthwatering sweet and tart hits your palate first then strawberries, rhubarb and some pastille. No brioche yay! It's off dry and loaded with red field berries! Crafted with Prince Edward County Gamay Noir resulting in a spectacular 8.5 alcohol bubbly. The acidity leaves me refreshed even though it's off dry. It's unique in a great way and SO beautiful in the glass! I've enjoyed it on it's own, with a strawberry pie or strawberry shortcake and on many Friday nights with some well loved girlfriends and some salty chips. It would be great as an opener or with a cheese board. Tasted Nov 2017 and looking forward to the 2017 release that I tank tasted at the winery! Sante!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
