Incredibly rich, complex, layered and deep with aromas of fleshy ripe blackberry on the nose and palate. Black cherry overdrive. Baco on turbo boosters, so love it! Smooth. Pair with more of the same wine.

Baco Noir food pairings: grilled chicken, smoked beef dishes, grilled radicchio.

Reviews and Ratings

Henry of Pelham Speck Family Reserve (2015) is a smooth and sensuous, full-bodied Baco Noir from Ontario's VQA wine region. Look for black cherry, mocha and smoke on the palate. Speck Family Reserve Vineyards have low yields of bacon noir from grapevines planted in 1982. The wine was aged 18 months in American oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
