Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The packaging, though! A regal wine - not just the bottle's appearance - but the wine itself! Enticing cherry, blackberry, plum, licorice and spice notes with a full-bodied smooth mouthfeel, integrated boozy notes, and a long delicious finish! It's leans more towards the off-dry style given its ripe fruit concentration so it makes for a nice pair with spicy flavourful dishes. Enjoy with a spicy jambalaya. Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich and robust, this value-priced wine is jam packed with smoky dark and dried fruit, black plums, baking spice, sweet cigar box, and leather. A very impressive wine at a bargain of a price! Enjoy with stews, chili, and smoky BBQ fare. Tasted January 2017. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.mattswinepicks.com
