Dark ruby in colour with aromas of plum, cassis, raspberry, smoke and cedar. It is full bodied with grippy tannins and high acidity. On the palate you get lots of cooked red fruit with baking spice. This will pair well with grilled red meats and hard cheeses. Tasted on November 17, 2019.

This wine evokes the feeling of velvet to me... very plush, jammy blueberry and blackberry, vanilla, milk chocolate and a wisp of smoke. Long vanilla finish and a touch of mint. Medium-full bodied, not a lot of acidity. Would pair with braised mushrooms or beef short ribs.
