A fruit forward (in aromas at least) Barolo? Hmmmmm.... Jokes aside, this wine boasts lovely spice, cherry, and rose petal notes. Tannins are chewy of course with a potential for aging up to 2025-2027. The palate tho! It's delish! High notes of dark chocolate, mocha, dried raspberries and sweet baking spices just hits the spot for me. Enjoy with a rare beef tenderloin roast. Tasted Nov 2016 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Priya: NIce rusty, clear color. Very ehady aromas of withered roses, garden compost and wet earth. Wild mushrooms as well. Drier than their entry level Barolo, but still so rich and fruity that even I can appreciate. "Beautiful body without too much aggression" says the winemaker. 14% alcohol and you feel it in a nice, warm enveloping sensation. This wine is approachable but can still age. P.S it's delicious with fresh figs! 90pts

Alex: You said it all my Lady! Just about! This is indeed more complex than the entry Barolo, adding a potent minerality of pure stone and much more imposing tannins. Bone dry with good fruit concentration and overall power for the money. Wonderful length, grip and minerality to the finish, with just a touch of heat. Will age well into 15 years past the vintage. 90pts
