Reviews and Ratings

Geoff rated this wine as 89/100
Joe Hache Prince Edward Count rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

OK ... I write a lot about county wines (well, we moved to Prince Edward County just for the wine!) and inexpensive wines as several years ago we did a blog of 365 wines in 365 days ... all under $10.

Today is a wine outside of those parameters! We get a lot of company down to the county but when Delores's girlfriends come down from Ottawa they always start the first night off with a bottle (or 2 or 3!) of red Ménage A Trois.

This wine exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of a good California wine. Three saucy grapes make up the blend. Zinfandel adds a juicy character while Merlot adds a mellowness and Cabernet adds the backbone. This wine is forward, spicy and soft, and this particular blend makes the perfect trio.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Big, Bold and Beautiful! Full bodied, inky, dry and in your nose ripe fruit. Once a Vintages favourite Menage is now general list at LCBO. Ripe red fruit, red licorice, jammy, bakers chocolate make up the aromas. Mouth is all this and more. A little heat accompanies on the finish with sour cherry. Blend of Zinfindel with Merlot and Cab this is full on California. Prime rib, grilled meats and hamburgers.
Martin rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Great wine. A little fruity but a nice long spicy finish.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This inviting California red blend has a unique and enticing label and a juicy, fruit forward offering of synergy between California Zin, Cab Sauv and Merlot. Fruit sourced from St Helena, Napa County. Tangy, juicy, delicious berries, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry dominant aromatics. Designed to please those who appreciate a fruit forward wine with a unique combination of varietals with higher focus on fruit than on tannins or acidity. Enjoy this wine easily on it's own or with gourmet AAA burgers, delicious aged cheeses. Drinking well. Tasted Nov 2016.
