Vintages Wine Panel: The "G" wine, as it's known at Featherstone, is a benchmark for Gew├╝rztraminer in Niagara. It captures the typical perfumed aromas of rosewater, spices and lychee fruit leading to a dry, medium-bodied wine with a soft texture and an exotic flavour profile. This is an expressive beauty to simply enjoy as a refreshing summer sipper on the patio. My note: This is an extraordinary wine, and perhaps the best Canadian gewurztraminer that I've tasted. It's luscious with an incredible viscous texture that wraps around your tongue. Lovely aromas of rose petal and lychee. Double yum.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: Asian dishes, vegetarian entrees or roast chicken, spicy, but not-too-hot Thai, Indian or Chinese dishes.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
