Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark ruby red. 13% ABV. Tart and tangy, dry, balanced. Wild strawberry, black peppercorn and baking spice. Fine medium plus tannins, medium plus acidity. Pairs well with roast beef. Tasted 2016 vintage in June 2017. 89 points.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby colour, with rich and vibrant bell peppers, cassis, dark plum, cooked strawberries and leathery chocolate. Flavour are big and full with raspberries, brambles, prunes and spices. Very well rounded with a sweet fruity finish. This is an ideal barbecued burger wine!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Pleasant scrumptious stewed cherry and cracked pepper notes. High mouthwatering acidity and soft supple tannins. Enjoy with BBQ pork tenderloins. Great value! Serve slightly chilled on a hot summer day by @sommsosa
Featherstone 2016 is a great value, mouth-watering Cabernet Franc from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Lovely, ripe black plums mixed with generous blackberry, crushed raspberry and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate. Very smooth and supple, pair this wine with grilled pork chops or smoky, aged cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
