This moderately priced southern French white wine blend is produced by the Perrin family, who also make the coveted Chateau de Beaucastel and have been making wine for five generations. Lovely French white wine from the Rhone Valley! Not too oaky or fruity: a delicious blend of earth and sunshine. Full-bodied with layers of Asian pear and a hint of smoke in this AC wine. Lots of energy and character in this Old World charmer. Primarily made from the Grenache Blanc grape, with some smoke and melon on the finish. Great price. Lovely lick of lime zest on the finish. Pair with pasta or seafood in a cream sauce.

Food pairings: pizza, seafood, roast chicken, beef bourguignon, cheese.

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Good value Cotes du Rhone. Strawberry, plum and mild tobacco on the nose. Soft flavours of lavender, plum, clay and some herbaceous notes. Gentle tannins balanced with nice acidity. Nice finish with white pepper adding to its complexity. Perfect pizza wine. Tasted November 2017
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A medium bodied buttery, juicy and aromatic white wine. Dominant notes include orange and lemon flavours. Enjoy with roasted chicken or turkey. Tasted by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
This is a fantastic value Côtes Du Rhône white blend from the Famille Perrin Réserve (2015). The white blend is primarily Grenache Blanc grape with Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier grapes added in. Yummy with lobster in melted butter. - Community Wine Reviews
