Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 98/100 with the following review:

This is a delightful wine to buy or to receive so beautifully wrapped and so intriguingly designed. As I poured this wine it was like releasing a genie from a bottle.....
On the nose this wine releases woody undertones and toast. Then the fruits made a presence, rich cooked plums, strawberries. There are complex aromas, just when you think you can sence one smell another quickly takes its place. It is truly a cavern of released surprises.
On the palate, it was like drinking mulled wine, spices of Cinamon, cardamon, bay leaf, pepper, cooked fruits, cherries, plums, strawberries, punch after punch of enthralling character dry strength on the palate which opens up into mocha...finishing on earthy woody notes with great tannins!
I know this isn't an everyday wine purchase, but believe me....this IS worth every single penny!
Need I say more! Wow!

Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
