Dufouleur 2016 is a medium-bodied soft and supple Old World Pinot Noir from the Burgundy wine region. Fleshy cherry, earthy florals, cedarbrush and savoury spice flavours can be found on the palate. This winery keeps their vineyard healthy and strong employing the increasingly popular enherbement naturel maîtrisé (ENM), a process of letting grass and cover crops grown between the vine rows. Pair with roast chicken.

Rully food pairings: roast leg of lamb, gourmet burgers, hard cheese, vegetarian pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

From Rully in the Burgundy wine region, Dufouleur 2016 is a medium-bodied, silky Old World Pinot Noir. Soft aromas of fleshy cherry and earth with more of the same on the palate with flavours of cedar brush and spice. The winemaking region of Rully produces both fresh whites and silky red wines like this one. This winery keeps their vineyard healthy and strong employing the increasingly popular enherbement naturel maîtrisé (ENM), a process of letting grass and cover crops grown between the vine rows. Pair with tourtière. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
